When I order a complete kitchen over the Internet, what happens next?

When we receive your order here at DIY Kitchens we have a look through the order to make sure the order looks okay, we check aspects of the order such as:

  • Have you got the correct carcass colour for the door style you have ordered.
  • Make sure you have the correct door sizes to go with the units ordered.

Buy Kitchen OnlineWe will also look to see you have items such as:

  • Plinth (to finish off below the base units).
  • Cornice and lighting pelmet (to finish off below and above the wall units).

Kitchen Confirmation

We will also confirm that you are okay with the delivery timescale and the terms of delivery. Once we have spoken to you and confirmed everything is okay with the order and delivery we will then take payment and put the order into production.

Hi, I have ordered a Melbourne almond kitchen with mussel carcass. If I wanted to change the colour of the carcass and door colour to chalk, would this be possible to do before the time has run out to make changes? How do I go about doing this?
    Thanks

Hi, you would need to log into your order dashboard and the items would need to deleted and re-added in the required colour. There is no facility to just change the door colour but the carcase colours can just be edited online.

How big are your delivery lorries. Live in a cul de sac and sometimes if can be difficult to get down due to cars parked

Hi, they vary from vans to 26 tonne lorries, when you place your order it will ask you questions about access to your property, so these things can be factored in to your delivery.

I am thinking of changing my kitchen which is an Alno kitchen installed about ten years ago. I noticed that your Franke sink tops do not appear to have tap hole pre-cut, do you pre-cut before delivery or would I have to arrange this. I have no kitchen installation experience.

    thank you

Hi, unfortunately we don’t pre-cut the tap holes for sinks. This is something your kitchen fitter would do on site when they know what type of taps are going to be fitted.

      Cheers

I am thinking of purchasing one of your kitchens ( possibly the Milton kitchen) and wondered if you do units to “build in” an American fridge/freezer? Also I would like to know if you have a larder in any of your ranges?

    Many thanks

Hi Clare, due to the size of American Fridges and the need to be able to access the fronts of them for water and ice etc, we don’t have any kitchen units for American fridges.

Larder units however are available in a wide range of styles. You can go to the page below, click a unit you like the look of, click on the change door button and choose the style that you need to match your kitchen design. Milton is located under the In-Frame tab on the style and colour selector page.

      I hope this helps you.

      Cheers
