Which kitchens have curved doors available?

When buying a new kitchen, people tend to go with what they know or upgrade what they already have with like for like units and doors but as you are starting afresh, it’s worth looking into what units and features are actually available.

Curved unit

We all know that wood does naturally curve but that does not stop us from providing kitchens with curved base and wall unit doors. Curved doors are ideal for end of kitchen runs where there is no wall to butt up to and you want to give a softer edge to the kitchen, rather than a square end.

If you have wall units that follow the base units below them then we also have a selection of curved wall units available. There is also the curved cornice, pelmet & plinth to help finish the kitchen off and to give it those nice curved edges.

Not all of our kitchens have curved doors available but some Innova kitchen styles that have curved doors available are shown below.

When looking at the kitchens on our website, scroll to the section at the bottom of each page and look at the “Feature Doors” section to see what kinds of doors are available.

Some of the kitchens also have internal curved doors available, which can look pretty cool with a curved granite worktop above that follows the contours of the kitchen units..

    Hi DIY Kitchens,

I’m just about to place the order for our Stanbury Alabaster cabinets with both internal and external curved doors in the design. We want to order rubberwood worktop but I am wondering how the curves are achieved with the worktop to follow the curves of the units? Is this done on site by the fitter, or am I missing something I should be adding to the basket?

Hi Kate, our wooden worktops are supplied in 1 straight piece and your kitchen fitted will need to cut it onsite, to fit the curves of your units

Hi there. We have a Norton painted kitchen arrived last week with two curved cupboards. We have two curved plinths but cannot work out how to fit them as the curve doesn’t seem the same as the doors. Are there any instructions or information for fitting a curved plinth?

Hi Kerry, the curves should be the same as the door. Please bear in mind that there are inner curves and outer curves. Please give the sales team a quick call at 9am on 01977 608 418 to ensure that you have the correct pieces for your kitchen.

If I use Carrara painted white kitchen would the Linwood painted white be the same colour as we need glazed doors as well. I would be grateful if you could let me know please.

The paint we use is the same but it would look slightly different as the Carrera is an MDF door and the Linwood is a woodgrain door.
