We love working with social media influencers who produce fantastic content and can help to promote the DIY Kitchens brand.  We work on a product-for-content basis, and any collaboration is subject to a review of your content, sector and audience, therefore whilst we would love to, we are unable to accept every request for collaboration.

If you would like to be considered, please bear in mind that you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Ideally producing content relating to renovations and DIY
  2. Have a sizeable or extremely engaged audience, located mainly within the UK
  3. Have great content engagement rates
  4. A great personality and/or unique element to your content

Do you pay for collaborations?

Due to the value of the products we supply, we work on a product-for-content basis rather than cash-for-content.

Do you provide free kitchens to collaborators?

Each collaboration project is determined on a merit basis, based on a number of factors.  We provide a range of discounts, as well as a FOC product, depending upon the opportunity.

I am renovating my house and producing content about this on Instagram, can I get a discount for promoting DIY Kitchens?

We would love to be able to offer discounts to all those who are documenting their kitchen renovation on social media, however, we do have a budget to work to, which means we can only select collaborations that we feel we will get maximum exposure from.  Therefore, please do not feel disappointed if your project does not meet our selection criteria.

I’m not in the DIY/Renovations sector

I have a large following and will be happy to promote DIY Kitchens. Would I be considered for a collaboration?

There’s an old saying, “if you don’t ask, you don’t get” therefore, please feel free to contact us to request a collaboration, however, we must stress that our preference is to work with those in the renovation or DIY sector, as their audience is more inclined to be actively looking for a new kitchen.

Do I have to sign a contract if I’m selected for a collaboration?

Yes, we require all our collaborators to sign a contract, with each one unique to the collaboration. This covers areas such as content requirements, details of products to be supplied and whether product is discounted or FOC, along with exclusivity periods and other areas related to working with the DIY Kitchens brand.

What type of content do you expect when working with a collaborator?

Overall, the type of content will vary according to your project and your style and will be agreed by both parties, however, we typically ask that there is content that covers the following:

  1. Showroom visit
  2. Using our online planner
  3. Taking delivery
  4. Installation
  5. Before and after footage
  6. Kitchen reveal

To keep content fresh, we are always open to new ideas, so please feel free to suggest something we may not have done before!

I’ve submitted a collaboration request but not heard anything back?

We receive a high volume of collaboration requests, therefore it is not always possible to reply to every one. If you have not heard from us within 30 days, please assume that, unfortunately on this occasion, we are unable to work with you at this moment in time. However, thank you for your interest in working with DIY Kitchens.

How big does my audience need to be in order to be considered for a collaboration?

Whilst we obviously prefer to work with influencers that have a large following, size isn’t necessarily important, therefore we have no minimum audience size.  When completing a collaboration request form, please include as much information about your audience as possible, to help us when reviewing your request.
