DIY Kitchens is the largest online supplier of fitted kitchens in the UK, however, this doesn’t mean that you know all you need to know about us!

FAQs

Do you offer Finance?

Currently we do not offer finance when purchasing a DIY Kitchen.  We require payment in full at the point of order, using either a debit or credit card.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No.  We require payment in full at the point of order, therefore no deposit is needed.

Can I pay using multiple cards/bank accounts?

Yes, of course.  To do this, you will need to place the order online without entering your payment details and then call our accounts team on 01977 608 418 to make the payment over the phone using as many cards as required. Please note that we do not accept American Express.

Payment needs to be made in full before your W/C delivery date can be allocated.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes, we do accept bank transfers. To do this, place your order without entering the payment details. You can then contact our accounts team on 01977 608 418 to provide your details to arrange a bank transfer.

What guarantee do you offer?

Our Innova kitchens doors come with a 5 year guarantee our kitchen units have a 25 year guarantee.

Do you offer a design service?

As the name suggests, DIY Kitchens does not currently offer a planning service as such.  We encourage customers to use our FREE online planner, to measure and drawer their room and start working on their design themselves.  We do, however, have an expert customer service team who are available 7 days a week, via email, to answer any queries you have about the planner or our products.

When you have finished your plan and you are ready to order, you can submit your plan to be checked by our team before creating a basket and allowing you to checkout.

Do you offer an installation service?

As the name suggests, we do not provide an installation service, however, our units are supplied fully assembled, with all doors, drawers, accessories and leg bosses pre-fitted to make installation as easy as possible.  However, if you are not a competent DIY’er, then we strongly advise that you employ an individual kitchen fitter.

Where is your showroom?

Our showroom is one of the largest, if not the largest, kitchen showroom in the UK and is well worth a visit before confirming your order.

What are your lead times?

Our lead times change according to the type of product and depending on how busy we are.  Typically, a standard kitchen will take around 2-3 weeks, whereas a bespoke painted kitchen could be 5 or more weeks due to additional production processes.

For accurate dates, please select a range on our website and the first available delivery date will be displayed.

How do I cancel or reschedule my kitchen?

Yes, you can postpone your delivery without incurring any additional cost so long as this is notified before your kitchen goes into the production schedule.  You will be sent details on email after you have ordered with details of cut-off dates. 

If your kitchen has gone into production, you can still postpone delivery, however, this will incur a storage charge of £20 per day. If we have attempted to deliver but you have failed to take this, you will also incur an additional delivery fee.  Full details of these charges will be sent by email after you have placed your order.

In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your kitchen, please contact our customer service team and, so long as the kitchen has not passed our cut-off point for production or you have yet to select a w/c delivery date, you will be able to cancel and a full refund will be processed.
