Do you have Luca edging tape for plinths?

A questions that we were previously asked about Luca edging tape was…

“Do you have a link to Luca edging tape as I can’t find it anywhere on your website. Also, is 2.7m the longest length plinth you have in the Luca range? Also, how do you join a plinth so that it looks nice and neat in the finished kitchen?

Below you will find the answer that covers all the points mentioned above regarding the Luca edging tape.

Luca edging tape

We only offer matt edging tape (available to match all our different unit colours), so the code to search for on the website is ET22. We do supply some touch up paint inside the fittings box, so that any exposed edges can be painted to match.

Plinth lengths and edging

We do provide 2 different length plinths in Luca and the Luca gloss versions do differ slightly with regards to which sides have already been edged and painted

Our Luca plinths are either 3m long (MDF) and painted with the same paint that is used on the doors or you can get 2.7m long plinths in unit material (MFC).

With a Luca matt kitchen, you could use the longer 2.7m MFC plinths but with Luca gloss, you would need the 3m long pieces finished in door material, so that they blend in perfectly with your kitchen.

Pre edged Luca plinth sides

Our Luca gloss plinths (only available as 3m MDF painted lengths) are finished on all sides. The Luca matt plinths are finished on the face only.

How to join plinths together

If you mitre the plinth together then this is the neatest way to join them. But, you can also just butt them up to each other, which still looks very neat
