How are your kitchen carcasses constructed?

Unit Constructions
When we start building your kitchen, the kitchen carcasses are manufactured using 18mm egger mfc. The units are made using glue and dowel construction techniques, a construction technique which is normally used by the continental (German/French) kitchen manufacturers. The fittings used have been sourced to provide a top quality long lasting kitchen for many years to come.

Are the carcasses fully built up?

Yes the carcasses are delivered direct to your door fully built up and ready for installation.

What are the advantages of 18mm carcasses made from glue and dowel construction?

The advantages are that glue and dowel constructed furniture is the ‘proper way’ of manufacturing. A more precise technique that is used by all the leading manufacturers throughout Europe,  a sturdier unit is achieved as there is no movement of joints by screws moving loose.

A major advantage is that there are no visible fixings on the outside of the carcasses. All in all, a much better construction technique than the cam and dowel constructed carcasses, which  flat-pack carcasses are built up like.

Are your carcase colours a similar colour to the doors?

We have worked in conjunction with the door supplier to bring you the best possible carcase/door matches. each door has a recommended carcase colour that is the best possible available match to the door.
